Hidden away in a loft space in the industrial part of Potrero is one of San Francisco's best kept style secrets. Dekko salon, founded in April 2002 by Jill Nishimura Tucci and Jodi Ninomiya from San Francisco, and Jules Chan from the United Kingdom, is fast becoming a destination spot for its expert work and peaceful ambience.

Located away from the chaos of downtown San Francisco, Dekko clients have access to easy street parking right outside. Inside the sun-filled salon space, regulars chat with the staff as they wait for a cut or color to set.

Dekko's staff has extensive training and career experience in top San Francisco Salons including Vidal Sassoon, Architects & Heroes and Posh Salon. Staff experience ranges from theatrical work, to MTV special events and music videos, teach-ins and seminars, as well as editorial work for top magazines.

Dekko also features two technicians who specialize in thermal reconstructing straightening perms using unique Japanese Soy extracts as well as Brazilian Blowouts (Keratin Treatments). Clients travel to Dekko from New York, Hawaii and Miami to put their hair in the hands of the Dekko team.
